ALL-IN-ONE-GUIDE For GM and Other Application

If you are applying for any GM spots, I suggest you follow these.

1. You must be active not only in-game but on forums as well. We require at least 5 MEANINGFUL posts. Which means any posts with just 2 words saying like... hello welcome or something, won't count. and if you havent met the required amount of posts we'll remove your application.

2. Your application should be filled out with NO abbreviations and you cannot fill out an application "tlking lyk dis."

3. Only ONE Application per person. If you want to edit your application go ahead and do so. But please don't create a new topic with another application.

4. Your application must be titled as follow like so: "IGN's GM Application" so if i were to apply it would look like this... SmileyFaceS's GM Application.

5. If your application has not been given a +1 for at least 2 weeks, you will be AUTOMATICALLY declined. But you can RE-APPLY by using the same application or a new one.

6. If your application is declined, you need to wait for 1week then you can post another application or a new one.

7. You MUST follow my format or it will be declined.

8. Any Players who talked about +1 or -1 will have their applications declined. (if they have one)

9. Be a SmileyCookieMS Player for a week OR getting to know SmileyCookiesMS community VERY WELL

10. Dont beg or ask to be GM

11. You can ask only players to read your app BUT NOT GMS

12. DONT Spam or make a new topic for your application

13. Even if you app is accepted, it doesnt mean your GM YET

How this application system works:
After you post your GM application Players and GM's will give feedback in your topic. Giving you either a +1 or -1 (Thumbs up or Thumbs down). In order for you to atleast be in the running for an Intern/GM we require a +1 from atleast 3 GM's or 5 SmileyCookiesMS players. If you recieve a -1 from 2 GM's or 5 SmileyCookiesMS players you're application will be put in the Denied section of the forums. Not for embarassment, just so we can keep track of who's applied already. Thos applications will stay there for 2 weeks. once removed you may apply again. PLAYERS... Only vote once per topic. don't spam you votes. Also PLAYERS and GMs must both give a reason why you +1 or -1. If you recieved the required amount of +1's your application will be put in the Accepted section of the forums. Though it doesn't guarantee your spot as a GM. It's simply just to show us who's already been approved. and gives us a list of who we should be looking for. Also keep in mind that if an Admin decides to GM someone without an application its because they feel they've proven enough in-game. With all said and done.

Tips to your application.

I've seen a lot of GM applications over the time I've been playing on private servers. Some are really good, and others don't even make the cut. A lot of the time, people are attracted to neat, and longer applications. You should make your application be persuasive. Here are some Smiley's Bullets for what a GM application should accomplish:

-> The application should catch the viewer's attention.
-> It explains what job interests you and why
-> It convinces the viewer that you are totally up for the job, and you are 100% qualified.

Most of the time, people are lazy to make a good application with a lot of writing in it. They believe just sticking an application in the forums will earn their way to a spot on the team. Well guess what? That's not how life is anymore. You need to be both experienced, and dedicated to get hired in anything. Why not answer each question with full detail, almost like it's the end of your life? That's the best way to earn a spot on the team, along with being in the server for a while. Here are some rules that you have to follow when posting an application:

-> You MUST vote. (If people vote now you'll have a more likely chance to become a GM)
-> You must be active on the forums.
-> If you start a fight on the forums...you lose your chance to be a GM, simple. (This doesn't mean a "you're stupid" "No you are" fight. I mean something that could hurt someone. It will not be tolerated.
-> You must be active
-> If you ask a GM to read your application in game or on the forums it will automatically be denied. No questions asked and no acceptions.

Please remember over and over again, HAVE YOUR GRAMMAR CORRECT WHEN YOU POST AN APPLICATION! That means capitalizing your "i"s", not saying "u" instead of "you", and all that kind of stuff. Making an application neat is a very important thing you have to do. That attracts the reader's attention. Answer the questions that the application gives you with full detail. Be precise, and literate. You need to show that you are 100% qualified, so do your best on that.

Lastly, if I am you, I will not post my application on the first day you registered. It will most likely be DENIGNED. You must go around the game and forums, know more people, understand the community and get to know SmileyCookiesMS more.
